The Jericho Project, Inc. is the lead presenter of the 2019 environmental film series, Planet Healing Films. We create community gathering opportunities and stimulate planet healing by hosting local sustainability dialogue. Monthly movies are shown from May to October .
Planet Healing Films organizing partners, led by The Jericho Project on Planet Healing Films are: The Holistic Chamber of Commerce, Sarasota Chapter; U.S. Green Building Council, Sarasota-Manatee-Desoto Myakka River Branch; and Sarasota Ready for 100% Clean Renewable Energy for All, a.k.a. Suncoast Climate Justice Coalition, including 19 individual local environmental organizations.
The Planet Healing Films Series (May-October) features documentaries that spotlight current environmental and social issues. 2019 Movies include : "Resilience: The Biology of Stress & The Science of Hope", “Living Downstream”, “From Paris to Pittsburg”, “Human Element”, "Living Matrix", “The City Dark”, “Unfractured” and "Voyage to a Dream" a documentary by Carlos Pagan, who now lives in Sarasota, about the Miami Bayfront Park development, which brings insight to our Sarasota Bayfront Park planning process.
